Things to do in Noosa
Horse Riding on the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast offers a fabulous array of environments in which to enjoy horse riding. The first to spring to mind would have to be beach riding on Noosa's famous North Shore, with 80 kilometres of pure white sand it is nothing short of a world class horse riding destination. Most riders prefering to play in the sand and canter through the surf at the southern end, with Noosa's main beach a mere stone's throw away. On a calm day at low tide it almost looks like you could walk your horse to the other side. As amazing as beach riding in Noosa is, the sunshine coast has a whole lot more to offer. The hinterland boasts lakes and state forests as well as the Noosa Trail Network, which according the Sunshine Coast Council's website "comprises eight picturesque hinterland trails, suitable for walking, horseriding or mountain biking". If you would like to try beach horse riding or perhaps cantering through a hinterland pine forest on your next visit to the Sunshine Coast, then be sure to take a look at Horse Riding in Noosa, and I hope to see you on the trails.
Best Value in Noosa

Unbeatable Value
If you are looking for unbeatable value and something very cool to do while in noosa, then look no further than Gondola's of Noosa.
At $120 for an hour or $150 for an hour and a half you can charter the whole boat which seats up to 6 people. Glasses, ice buckets and fine music are all provided, so you can just sit back and enjoy some romantic cruising around the Noosa river and canals with a special someone or with the company of a few good friends.
Gondolas, wine, the river and good company are an easy sell, but let's get back to the title of this article. The best value in Noosa (or probably anywhere). You and 5 other friends on this boat for 1 hour works out to at $20 a head, even with 2 people at $60 a head it is still great value for money.
Just to put this in perspective, the Noosa Ferry's Sunset Cruise costs $19.50, which, of course, is also a great way to spend an afternoon, but I don't think it compares with the gondola. The other way of looking at it is, for $39.50 you can do both and tell me which was better. Although, like I said before, if it involves wine, the river and good company then how can you go wrong?
